Interview with Mark D. Goodman, president and CEO
Q: How did you get involved in this business?
A: I have been blessed to be involved with the beverage, retail and consumer businesses for more than 20 years. As the former head of strategy for the McDonald’s Corporation, I have managed both the strategy and execution of many aspects of the coffee business from coast to coast.
Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
A: A good cup of coffee plays a central role in many, many peoples’ lives on a daily basis. We value being a part of and helping to ensure, through a great quality cup of coffee, those everyday aspects of peoples lives. At Boyer’s Coffee, we are passionate about making sure you have a great cup of coffee every day.
Q: What do you like best about your line of work?
A: Helping to provide opportunities for my employees and their families, and making sure we provide all our customers with great coffee.
Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?
A: Making sure we maintain and satisfy our current loyal customers is job one. Second, is finding new customers to join and become loyal Boyer’s Coffee fans.
Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:
A: We produce and package only 100 percent Arabica beans. Only the best in the world for our customers.
