COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A suspected white supremacist gang member who was wanted for questioning after the slaying of Colorado’s prisons chief has pleaded guilty to unrelated charges.
The Gazette reports ( ) 47-year-old James Franklin Lohr Jr. was sentenced Thursday to nine years in prison after he pleaded guilty the same day to vehicular eluding and possession of a weapon by a previous offender. He was arrested April 5 after he fled from officers and threw a gun from his car.
Lohr hasn’t been charged with anything related to the killing of prisons chief Tom Clements. Investigators say their only suspect is Evan Ebel, a Colorado parolee who was shot and killed in Texas while being investigated for Clements’ murder.
