
1 Soap dispenser fight. An employee of Brewskis at 2100 E. 104th Ave. called police Sept. 14 after a customer broke the soap dispenser off the wall in the men’s restroom. The employee heard a crash and went into the bathroom, where the suspect was standing over the broken dispenser, alone, with blood on his hands.
2 Spare key hazards. Police were called to the 9100 block of Tejon Street on Sept 14. by a woman who said her camera and some jewelry were taken from her home. The woman said she kept a spare key under a table outside her front door, but the key was missing.
3 When nature calls. A patrolling officer cited a drunken man Sept. 13 for urinating in a parking lot in the 8400 block of Umatilla Street. The man was released to a sober friend on scene.
4 T-shirt thief. A loss-prevention employee at the K-Mart at 1400 E. 104th Ave. called police Sept. 9 while he was watching a customer cut tags off several T-shirts and stuff them into a backpack that was also store merchandise. Police intercepted him attempting to leave and arrested him.
5 Copper heist. Police were called to a car dealership at 5840 Dahlia St. on Sept. 5 after $20,000 worth of copper cable was stolen from a trailer. The business owner thought the theft may have occurred a month earlier.
6 Impounded dogs. Neighbors in the 6700 block of E. 61st Avenue called police Sept. 4 about two pit bulls that were running at-large. The dogs had no collars, and a police officer couldn’t locate their owner or secure them in the yard, so they were impounded.
