Interview with Chhiring Lama, owner

Q: How did you get involved in this business?

A: I have been in business for about 18 years. I have worked at several successful Indian and Nepalese restaurants as main cook for many years in the Denver metro area. I purchased this business in 2011. Our business has been going up since I took over the management of the restaurant.

Q: What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?

A: We serve Indian and Nepalese food. We can prepare food mild or very spicy as requested by our customers. We provide fresh food every day. We also do delivery, catering and parties. Our food uses less oil and so is healthy. Our restaurant has a family environment. We have customers who come and dine with us from 25 miles away or more.

Q: What do you like best about your line of work?

A: Cooking is our passion. We take pride in being able to make excellent Indian and Nepalese food and provide great service to our customers. We try to win all of our customers’ hearts. We have many repeat customers.

Q: What is your business’ biggest challenge?

A: Our biggest challenge is our exposure. Once we can overcome this challenge, we will be known well in the community and so we will be able to serve more customers.

Q: Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business:

A: They will be surprised to know that they will find one of the best selections of food in our restaurant. Our food is very tender, juicy and has excellent taste. They will also get the absolutely best customer service.
