AVON, Colo.—Avon council members now have an independent opinion clearing their colleagues of any wrongdoing in an ethics case involving development projects.

Attorney Scotty Krob told the Avon Town Council in a draft report released Wednesday that he found no evidence council members Chris Evans and Todd Goulding violated ethics rules when they voted on projects in which they had a financial interest.

According to the Vail Daily ( ), Evans and Goulding say they look forward to getting back to business in Avon once the report is officially accepted on Oct. 2.
