An inmate in the Denver jail has died in custody.
Police announced Thursday morning a death at the Van Cise-Simonet Detention Center, 490 W. Colfax Avenue, in downtown Denver.
“No foul play suspected at this time” in the man’s death, the Denver Police Department said in a Twitter release.
The name of the victim was not released.
Investigators continue to look into the exact cause of the man’s death.
