DENVER—Authorities say a black bear was killed when it was hit by a car on Interstate 25 near the Colorado-Wyoming border.
Colorado State Patrol spokeswoman Heather Cobler tells KMGH-TV ( ) the small bear was hit just south of Wellington at about 5:30 a.m. Monday.
The car sustained minor damage, and the driver was not injured.
