The Colorado State Patrol says a bear and a car collided on Interstate 25 on Monday morning.
The crash happened just south of Wellington, in Larimer County, around 5:30 a.m.
The Colorado State Patrol said the bear, a small black bear, died.
The car, a Volkswagen Passat, had minor damage, according CSP spokeswoman Heather Cobler. The driver was not hurt.
