DENVER—The Colorado Department of Transportation says U.S. Highway 6 is back open after it was closed between Interstate-70 and Colorado Highway 119 when large rocks fell on the roadway in Clear Creek Canyon on Thursday.

Authorities said at least one rock was the size of a small car.

No injuries were reported.
