BOULDER, Colo.—A Boulder chapter of Sigma Pi fraternity has been expelled from Interfraternity Council after its members were accused of providing alcohol to potential recruits during the fall rush.

The Daily Camera reports that Sigma Pi’s parent organization will not revoke its charter ( ).

Boulder’s fraternities are not affiliated with the University of Colorado, but they recruit CU students

The Interfraternity Council’s judicial board found the fraternity responsible for several violations over a period of the past two school years.

The fraternity appealed the decision, but on Thursday, 15 chapter presidents voted to expel the fraternity from the council.

Sigma Pi’s international executive office is in Brentwood, Tenn. It will perform a membership review sometime this month in which some members may be expelled from the fraternity.
