A neighbor at a Breckenridge condominium complex helped extinguish a fire at a next-door condominium that was unoccupied at the time, officials say.
Firefighters were called to the second floor of the “Hideaway” condominium complex on Atlantic Lode at 11 a.m., according to a news release by the Red, White & Blue Fire District.
Twenty-one firefighters who responded to the scene prevented it from spreading to other units, the news release said.
Furniture that was too close to a baseboard heater caught on fire and spread, officials say.
