has posted a video on Facebook of the band’s drummer Jeff Fabb being denied entrance to Denver’s Brother’s Bar & Grill because of his neck tattoo.
The cell phone video shows Fabb walking up to the restaurant and the man at the door turning him away because of the tattoo.
The band posted the video on Oct. 9 after a show at near Brother’s Bar.
“This really just happened!! Boycott ‘the brothers’ bar and restaurant!! In Denver..,”
Fabb was denied entrance on his own then the band returned to film a second attempt to get into Brothers, according to the Facebook post.
As of 10 a.m. on Oct. 11, the post has 2,327 likes, 2,310 shares and more than 800 comments.
, Brothers Bar posted the following response on its Facebook page, but has since deleted it:
“We are NOT against tattoos. We are NOT against visible tattoos. Our employees have and display tattoos. Our guests have and display tattoos. That has always been the case. What the tattoo represents or symbolizes and where the tattoo is located is a criteria to entering our location.”
