Man extricated from parents’ basement is hospitalized. An elderly couple called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Oct. 3, reporting that their son had locked himself in the couple’s basement in the 8200 block of South Marshall Court, Columbine (Littleton), after an altercation. No citation was issued and the son was transported to Littleton Hospital for treatment.

Woman brandishes gun; man arrested. On Oct. 3, a man reported he was threatened with a handgun by a woman in the 11900 block of West Temple Drive, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton). The two had previously been in a relationship. After Jeffco deputies responded, the man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

DUI, ignoring protective order results in arrest. On Sept. 26, Jeffco deputies responded to Hi Hopes Liquors, 9729 West Coal Mine Ave., unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton). When they pulled into the parking lot, a vehicle occupied by two men drove away. When the driver stopped, it was determined he did not have a driver’s license because it had been revoked after a previous DUI incident. He said he thought a related restraining order prohibiting alcohol had expired. He was arrested for violation of a protective order and driving under the influence.

Fisticuffs break out between two men. On Oct. 3, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of an assault in the 9700 block of City View Drive, unincorporated Jeffco (east of Conifer),
when a heated verbal argument between two men over moving a parked car escalated to blows. One man’s mouth was bloodied. No charges were filed.
