The Colorado State Patrol is asking for the community’s help in finding the driver of a car that hit a pedestrian Thursday night.

The crash happened around 5:45 p.m. at 7052 West Glasgow Place in Littleton, according to a news release from state patrol.

The victim suffered serious injuries.

An unidentified car hit a 61-year-old man while he was walking his dogs, the vehicle fled the scene, according to the release.

A neighborhood resident found the man, who was then taken to the hospital, the release states.

The vehicle will most likely have front-end damage, according to state patrol.
