A Dupont Elementary School staff member has been placed on leave for an alleged incident of misconduct with a student.
The staff member has not been arrested, but the Adams County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the matter while the staff member is on paid leave, said Maria VanderKolk, Adams County School District 14.
“It was an alleged one-time incident that was witnessed,” VanderKolk said.
More specifics about the incident could not be discussed, VanderKolk said.
