With Parker views that go on and on, Toll Brothers opens two luxury areas of prime sites, some for ranches

Luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers, ranked ‘Builder of the Year’ for the entire nation by Builder Magazine, has gotten the jump on some choice sites on a west-facing hillside in Parker, some with walkouts, views, and ranch-plan possibilities, near Black Bear Golf Club. Today they’ll let you get the jump on those – look them over or pick one out, and pick up a pumpkin for Halloween while you’re there (11-2).

This comes at a time when homebuyers are getting an entirely new look at the town of Parker, says Cynthia Considine, on hand with Mary Jane Anderson today to show you the layout. “Parker’s always had that country-quiet identity, but now it’s suddenly much closer to business campuses in Meridian and the Denver Tech Center,” she adds.

Toll Brothers is opening two areas: The Highlands is on a view-swept hilltop overlooking a Parker open-space gulch and the entire Front Range on one side, and Black Bear’s clubhouse on the other. Toll Brothers is bringing in new versions of its fastest-sellers from luxury areas like BackCountry in Highlands Ranch and Broomfield’s McKay Shores – homes that were also popular in nearby Pine Bluffs, now sold out.

Meanwhile, across the gulch you’re going to see The Hills – an enclave that will feature single-level living: ranches and main-floor master suites (along with a family 2-story, as well.) “We already know that some younger buyers are preferring ranches and main-floor masters, something that used to be preferred by empty-nesters,” Considine notes. Douglas County schools serve both neighborhoods: top-rated Cimarron Middle and Legend High, both 8-for-10 stars at GreatSchools.org.

Something else comes as part of the package at either The Hills or The Highlands: Both are grandfathered into the amazing amenities of Idyllwilde, the master plan that won the Community-of-the-Year award for the entire Denver-Boulder area for its trails through 300 acres of open space and its Grange ranch-style pool center. “This site is already resonating with people,” says Joel Nelson, Toll Brothers’ on-site project manager. “Even from the interior home sites you’ll be able to walk into trails with views that just won’t quit.”

Prices start from the upper-$3s for The Hills; the upper-$4s for The Highlands, both of them for buyers with time to plan their options and arrange their move. Toll Brothers’ new information center, with the ‘Pumpkin Patch’ 11-to-2, is three blocks north of Idyllwilde’s information center. Take Parker Road south to Hess, turn east to Canterberry, then left to Idyllwilde Drive, and north three blocks.
