GREELEY — Randy Wright’s four touchdown passes staked UC Davis to a 31-0 lead and sparked a 34-18 win over Northern Colorado.
Wright drove the Aggies 74 yards in six plays after the opening kickoff, firing 28 yards to Taylor Sloat for a touchdown. Wright then engineered a 74-yard drive in 12 plays and gave UC Davis a 14-0 lead with a second scoring pass to Sloat, this one from 16 yards out. Wright added a 20-yard strike to Corey Galindo in the first half and a 13 yard-score to T.J. King in the third quarter.
Tromaine Dennis ran 43 yards for a Northern Colorado (1-7, 0-4) score with 2:27 left in the third quarter, and Seth Lobato added a 6-yard pass to Dimitri Stimphil for a touchdown with 2:03 left in the game.
