At least eight people were injured as a Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus crashed Saturday evening on Colorado 82 in Garfield County, according to a spokesman with the State Patrol.
Emergency crews from surrounding counties responded to the wreck around 7 p.m., and eight people were transported to Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs and Aspen Valley Hospital.
There have been no reports of fatalities, according to the State spokesman.
Both lanes of the highway were closed after the crash, and traffic was detoured, according to the state Department of Transportation. As of 9:15 p.m. Saturday, the eastbound lanes had reopened.
