DENVER—A former Littleton police officer is facing jail time after pleading guilty to possession and distribution of the party drug Ecstasy.

Jeffery Johnston is a 22-year veteran motorcycle officer. He pleaded guilty Monday to possession of a firearm in a drug-trafficking crime.

His lawyer asked U.S. District Judge Philip Brimmer to allow Johnston to remain free on the $100,000 bond, but Brimmer refused.

According to the Denver Post ( ), Johnston will be held in a county jail until sentencing.
