Vandals slashed tires on two dozen vehicles overnight in Brighton.
A resident of the Riverwalk Apartments, 744 Mockingbird St., called police at 4:10 a.m. Tuesday to report the incident, according to a Brighton Police Department media release.
The resident noticed the damage when he was leaving for work, police said.
Officers tallied 20 vehicles and four motorcycles with slashed tires — all of them parked in the apartment complex lot. Three vehicles also had smashed windows. The vandals remain at large.
Anyone with information on the incident, or on possible suspects, is asked to call the department’s tip line at 303 655-8740.
