In addition to its free “Night at the Museum” on Nov. 2 as part of Denver Arts Weeks, the Denver Museum of Nature & Science is opening a pair of family-friendly shows on Nov. 1 that take on the biggest — and smallest — things in the universe. The new IMAX film “Mysteries of the Unseen World 3-D” uses cutting-edge technology such as electron microscopes and super high-speed photography to uncover a breathtaking array of events invisible to the naked eye. The new planetarium show “To Space and Back” thinks big in showing us how the discoveries of recent space exploration are changing the way we see and interact with our own world.
