Nov. 8-10. The Front Range choral scene got a lot better 20 years ago when the St. Martin’s Chamber Choir arrived. Under the leadership of artistic director Timothy Krueger, the ensemble took us a vocal level higher, combining serious talent with intelligent programming, and doing much to develop an audience for an art form that has blossomed here. St. Martin’s has an impressive lineup for its special season, including this concert titled “España, Old World and New: Continental Echoes.” The program features composers from “old world Iberia” and “new world Mexico,” with the singers sampling villancicos, the Spanish version of Italian madrigals. 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 4500 Wadsworth Blvd, Wheat Ridge; and 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9, and 3 p.m. Nov. 10 at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 2015 Glenarm Place. $10-25. 303-298-1970 or .
