The Montrose Indians and Monarch Coyotes claimed the top two seeds in the Class 4A state football tournament, which runs Nov. 8-30.
Montrose, which finished the regular season with a record of 9-1, received the No. 1 seed. Monarch is the No. 2 seed and is seeking its second straight state title.
The championship game will take place Nov. 30 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.
