BOULDER — Colorado tailback Michael Adkins II and cornerback Kenneth Crawley returned to practice Tuesday and hope to play Saturday at Washington, coach Mike MacIntyre said at his weekly media luncheon.

Adkins, Colorado’s leading rusher at 73.8 yards per game, suffered a concussion Oct. 26 against Arizona and sat out .

“(Tuesday) was another test,” MacIntyre said. “We didn’t hit him. Hopefully he doesn’t have headaches (Wednesday). He didn’t have any (Tuesday). We hope to see him out there Saturday.

“He’s a good player. He has a lot of speed. We ran well Saturday night. With his speed, we might’ve broken a couple longer ones.”

Crawley, who has started six games this season, sprained his ankle two days before the UCLA game and didn’t play.
