After his late night debut on Letterman last week, decided to take on with a full horn section on Monday night. The young English musician performed “A Lizard State” like a screwy spy jazz-rock number, complete with vintage suits.
In a perfect world, Krule would be Conan’s lanky, redhead, U.K., musically inclined cousin. It’s actually rather disappointing that Conan doesn’t mention it in the video of the performance below.
The 19-year-old Krule (real name, Archy Marshall) released his debut album, on Aug. 26 on True Panther/XL. We caught , a few weeks after the album dropped.
Krule returns to the U.S. in early December with shows in Connecticut, New York, Massachusetts, Washington DC and Pennsylvania.
