Golden Holiday Market
The annual Holiday Art Market at Foothills Art Center in Golden begins Nov. 16. More than 100 Colorado artists showcase their handmade ceramics, jewelry, paintings, woodworking, photography and more. The market remains open through Dec. 29 and is closed on Mondays.
Durango Polar Express
The Polar Express Train Ride returns to Durango Nov. 23-Jan. 4. Seats sell out quickly for this annual holiday event in which passengers sip hot chocolate, read the story of The Polar Express and travel by train to the North Pole to greet Santa. Ticket prices vary by car.
E Santa in Georgetown
Santa’s North Pole Adventure in Georgetown begins on Nov. 23. This one-hour train ride on the Georgetown Loop Railroad features Santa and Mrs. Claus, and is filled with hot chocolate, cookies and candy canes. Pueblo Zoo Holiday Lights
The ElectriCritters holiday light show at the Pueblo Zoo is on display select weekends beginning Nov. 27 through Dec. 29. From 5:3o p.m.-8:30p.m., more than 250,000 lights brighten the zoo at this family-friendly holiday event. Ticket prices range from $3-$6.
