Curious about the girl in the sparkly blue dress at Twitter’s IPO? 

She’s Vivienne Harr, a 9-year-old who turned a neighborhood lemonade stand into a social change beverage company with drinks carried in more than 150 stores — and at Twitter’s headquarters.

“Ringing the bell was very fun, I liked it a lot,” Vivienne said in a phone interview with the . “Today I rang the bell for freedom, and you don’t have to be big and powerful to make a difference — you can be like me.”

Vivienne began selling her homemade Make A Stand Lemon-Aid, an all-organic, fair-trade lemonade sweetened with agave nectar, on street corners in Northern California in 2012 to raise money for organizations that fight modern-day slavery around the world.

After raising more than $500,000 with her stand and its online counterpart, , she began bottling the beverage in July.

 to market  and at some point caught the attention of , who as an “Internet guy who believes in the triumph of humanity with a little help from technology.” 

Instead of ringing the iconic New York Stock Exchange bell themselves, Twitter’s founders and CEO decided to , including Vivienne, who was after leaving Wall Street.
