Veterans Day Run

The inaugural kicks off at 8 a.m with a pre-race ceremony honoring veterans. There will be a timed 11K run, a timed 5K run and a one-mile family walk. Registration is open through race day and non-racers are encouraged to come out to support veterans and cheer on other runners. All participants will receive a commemorative pin, goodie bag and refreshments.

Dedicated in May 2013, The is a glass monument, 12 feet tall, 95 feet wide inscribed with the names of nearly 6,000 Coloradans who were killed or are missing in action. Each panel is dedicated to a specific war. There will eventually be a computer kiosk with a searchable database to make finding names on the wall a bit easier, but for now, you can still go and appreciate the quiet beauty of this solemn tribute.
Veterans to Farmers – Kickstarter Launch Party

Veternas to Farmers will host drinks, light snacks, and a viewing of a new VTF video by WINK INC. Veterans to Farmers is looking to raise $50,000 through Kickstarter toward a capital campaign to construct a National Training Center Greenhouse in Downtown Denver.
All members of the public get free admission to Rocky Mountain National Park and national parks across the country on Nov. 11:
Veterans get free admission on Nov. 11 at Colorado’s state parks. You will need to show military ID, discharge papers or other proof of service at the park gate. All other passengers in the vehicle will also be admitted free. Find a park:
