Has it really been 10 years since got their star on the UK label Lizard King? Do you remember that one time when the Killers opened up for Stellastarr at the back in 2004? I guess it’s about that time for the Las Vegas lads to have released “Direct Hits,” a retrospective best of album (released Nov. 11). The nice news is that instead of just including all past hits, Brandon Flowers and Co. decided to add two new tracks.
Tuesday night saw the Killers check in with bestie Jimmy Kimmel to perform the M83-produced, “Shot At the Night.” The “Jimmy Kimmel Live” performance flexed backup singers, turning the synth-act to a lounge with lead vocalist Brandon Flowers doing his best to hone in on his inner Springsteen. For those of you that missed it, check out the proper video for “Shot At the Night” that takes place in, you guessed it, Las Vegas.
