Adams most recently served as president of Denver-based Xcore Corp.
“Eula Adams brings a strong international business base to Neuromonics, with a wealth of financial and organizational experience,” said Ron West, chairman of Neuromonics.
“This step can have a significant impact on the company’s customers and employees, as well as the audiology industry,” West said in a statement.
Neuromonics has patented devices that it says promote long-term reduction of ringing in the ears, known as tinnitus, when coupled with support and education from audiologists.
According to Neuromonics, Adams served as senior vice president of storage sales and services for Sun Microsystems and as president and senior vice president of First Data Corp., working in Denver.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to be a vital part of the medical device and bioscience community, and a chance to help make a difference, with Neuromonics products and treatments, in the lives of those suffering from tinnitus,” Adams said in a statement.
