The Red Ball is always a top draw in Denver, offering a runway extravaganza with clothes from local designers and often-outrageous hair and makeup styling from area salons. The Denver Colorado AIDS Project presents its fifth annual benefit Dec 1. Entertainers, a cocktail reception and a silent auction are also included. Tickets are $30 for the junior level, which includes general admission at 7 p.m. and standing room only for ages 30 and under; a $50 general admission ticket includes admission at 7 p.m. and standing room only; the $75 runway ticket includes early admission at 6 p.m. with appetizers and one drink token; a $500 VIP table of four includes early admission at 6 p.m., valet parking, one drink token per person and one liquor bottle on table.
