Gas station brawl. Two men were cited with disorderly conduct Nov. 9 after fighting at Phillips 66, 7970 Wadsworth Blvd. One was a customer upset and yelling about the car wash. The other was the store clerk, who came out from behind the glass and punched the customer during the altercation.
Scrambled eggs. Arvada police received a report of neighborhood mischief Nov. 13 from a resident of the 6700 block of Estes Street. The resident’s vehicle, a white Ford SUV, had been egged, along with several other cars in the neighborhood. No suspects were identified.
Roll-by theft. Police were called to Sports Authority, 7400 W. 52nd Ave., on Nov. 12 for a theft. A man entered the store, picked out a bicycle and then rolled the bike out the front door without paying or being stopped. The value of the bike was $547.
Doggy dispute. Police responded to the 9600 block of Shannon Drive on Nov. 12 after a resident said she was threatened by a neighbor. According to the resident, she and her neighbor argued over her dogs. The dogs were barking and according to the resident, the neighbor told her, “I’ll cut your dog up.” The neighbor denied saying that. No charges were filed.
Fleeing the scene. A man called police Nov. 11 to report a hit-and-run at West 55th Avenue and Wadsworth Boulevard. The man was exiting the interstate when his car was struck from behind by a maroon Lincoln. The Lincoln fled the scene so the man followed him, making contact at a restaurant. The Lincoln’s driver denied causing damage and fled again. The man could not provide the license plate number.
