
Construction vehicles damaged. Golden police went Nov. 11 to an area near Seventh and Ford streets, where construction vehicles had been damaged. One truck’s windshield was broken and another’s hood showed damage from a business sign that had been lowered onto it. The damage to the sign was estimated at $500.
Unclaimed cocaine. Golden police responded Nov. 11 to the 500 block of Entrada Drive after a resident said a neighbor had found a small bag containing a white substance in the steering column of his truck. The substance tested positive for cocaine, was booked into evidence and slated for destruction.
Fences and neighbors. Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies went to the 11100 block of Kennedy Avenue, southeast of Conifer, where a resident said she had given her neighbor permission to cut a small hole in her fence so he could install a culvert. She then discovered about 10 feet of the fence had been removed. The neighbor said the fence was already gone when he installed the culvert. The case is open.
Keys lifted from forklift. A Jeffco Sheriff’s deputy responded to Diversified Lumber, 1232 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen, on Nov. 14 after keys to a forklift were reported stolen. An employee reported seeing a suspicious vehicle on Nov. 13, but thought it belonged to someone there to fix one of the forklifts. The deputy issued a 30-day extra patrol for the district.
Break-in reported. On Nov. 15, a Jeffco Sheriff’s deputy went to 1400 block of Shavano Court, Evergreen,after a resident of the home reported a break-in and damage, but found nothing missing.
