Getting your player ready...

Do you enjoy helping others and yearn to make a difference each day? Now you can as a registered medical assistant. In as little as 15-19 months, you can train for a career in the healthcare field and earn a
medical assisting degree or diploma from IBMC College.

During morning, day or evening classes, you will learn the skills and receive the hands-on training necessary to help patients. You will be taught how to perform injections, lab preparation, suture removal, casting, equipment sterilization, phlebotomy, as well as front and back office procedures. And, classes run just four days per week.

While in school, you have the opportunity to provide valuable health screening services at the popular, community-wide 9Health Fair and complete blood draws during the on-campus Garth Englund Blood Drive, benefiting hundreds of individuals.

In the last five weeks of your program, you will gain additional experience in your externship, which includes working in a medical office, healthcare facility, hospital or doctor’s practice.

After successfully graduating and passing the RMA Exam, you will enter into the healthcare field as a nationally registered medical assistant, certified in CPR, first-aid and automated external defibrillator use.

IBMC’s Career Services Team provides further support through job placement in your field and career coaching, even after graduation.

Don’t wait to make a difference in the lives of others. Begin training for a rewarding career as a medical assistant at IBMC College in Northern Colorado or Wyoming. Call 800-495-2669 or visit ibmc.edu to get started.
