I think of great Halloween costumes around the beginning of the year. It’s useless. I write them down and lose the paper. When Halloween comes around, all I can think is that whatever idea I’ve got in the moment isn’t half the idea I had nine or 10 months ago.
New Year’s resolutions are the same — I think of the best resolutions in the spring, so I end up resolving to change a habit as I’m doing my spring cleaning. It’s a nice, fresh feeling making all that change at once, but it’s tough!
This year, I’m sizing up a few different options for resolutions, and doing some homework ahead of time, so I’m ready for some serious self-improvement, come Jan. 1.
We’ll share a few options here in , too. This week, Claire Martin reports on . As the month goes on, we’ll also have ways to be more efficient in your use of technology, managing work/life balance and dedicating yourself to being a better consumer — in whatever way you choose.
