A University of Denver graduate was named Friday to the board of directors at Stanley Black & Decker , the company announced.
Debra A. Crew, president of PepsiCo Americas Beverages, brings “an impressive record of success” to the board, its chairman John Lundgren said in a statement.
After DU, Crew earned an MBA at the University of Chicago. She’d also been an officer in the United States Army.
” Her global perspective coupled with proven commercial capabilities and exposure to world-class innovation planning processes will be of tremendous value as we continue to pursue profitable growth,” said Lundgren, who is also CEO at Stanley Black & Decker.
She’d also worked at Mars Inc., at Kraft Foods and at Nestle.
