GOLDEN, Colo.—Golden has lifted evacuations after a flood threat from a broken ice dam subsided.

The city evacuated the Clear Creek RV park and the Canyon Side Condos on Tuesday after an ice dam broke in Clear Creek.

The city said a wall of water, which was at approximately 4 feet high when it hit the mouth of the canyon, was expected to flow into Golden.

According to KUSA-TV ( ), the city now says the threat of flooding has passed. The city says the water may have gone under the ice.
