Christopher Armstrong was named the new chief of Littleton Fire Rescue on Thursday.
Armstrong was chosen after a national search that included more than 40 interviewers, according to a news release on the city’s website.
“Chris Armstrong is an exciting and talented leader who will bring a fresh vision and perspective to the department,” Littleton City Manager Michael Penny said in a press release.
Armstrong is the former division chief for the Miramar, Fla. Armstrong will replace John Mullin, who became chief in 2004.
