Rocks and railroads
It’s a twofer of fun this weekend at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. The Flatirons Mineral Club presents its annual Rock & Mineral Show with displays, demonstrations, speakers, classes and gold panning. The Boulder Model Railroad Club’s 36th annual Model Railroad Show offers vendors, layouts and railroadiana. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 15.
