One of the oddest synth-pop setups to tour this year, brought its live act — consisting of two drummers, bass and vocals — to Jimmy Kimmel on Tuesday.
The Minneapolis group, which is touring in support of the sophomore album “Shulamith,” performed “Spilling Lines” and “You Don’t Own Me.” A good mix of the band’s sound, “Spilling Lines” is a haunting, upbeat gothic rocker and “You Don’t Own Me” lands more into the pop-ballad corner.
Polica performed at The band wraps up its U.S. tour with a show at the Belly Up in Solana Beach, Calif., on Dec. 18 (yes, that is the sister venue to the Belly Up Aspen). In late January, Polica embarks on a European tour.
