Aspen Skiing Co. is charging its highest price ever for a single-day, walk-up lift ticket, thanks in large part to good early conditions that it touts as once-in-a-generation.

Skico boosted its single-day, walk-up ticket price to $119 last weekend once all four of its ski areas were open. Aspen Mountain and Snowmass opened earlier than scheduled. Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk opened Dec. 14, as planned. A lift ticket is good at all four ski areas.

The window price is climbing to $124 per day starting Friday, according to company spokesman Jeff Hanle.
