Android to anywhere

The AllCast app, above, which just hit the Android market in full form after being available only in beta, lets you stream from your phone or tablet to another device, or even your Apple TV. Once you download the app, it scans which devices are available to sync, and from there you can choose which device and media you want to stream. Currently, only images and videos can be streamed from the app, but developers are hoping to offer music streaming soon.

Snapchat adds features

Snapchat, the instant photo-messaging app famous for its auto-delete function, just got an update that gives users the ability to replay one message per day. Among the other updates are the ability to edit photos to add filters, a flash for the front camera and an overlay option to add data like weather and time.

Catch up before you catch up

The TalkSide app for Android app syncs with your Facebook contacts and phone history, so before you make or receive a call, information such as past text messages, birthdays and social activity appear. Sorry, iOS users, it’s available only for Android operating systems.

T-Mobile users get free Facebook

T-Mobile customers can now “like” all the Facebook statuses they want — without paying for a data plan. T-Mobile has partnered with Facebook to launch a new pre-paid plan, GoSmart Mobile, which offers unlimited use of the Facebook and Facebook Messenger apps. While this seems like a good deal, there is a bit of a catch: If you click a link that takes you off the Facebook app, you will need a data plan to see the page.
