Help stomp Breck snow blocks
Jan. 15-18 is Snow Block Stomping Week in Breckenridge when the public is invited to help stomp snow block in the Riverwalk Competition area in preparation for the International Snow Sculpting Competition, above, that takes place the following week. The competition begins Jan. 21, with Sculpture Viewing Week Jan. 26-Feb. 2.
Manitou food tours
Manitou Springs Food Tours begin Jan. 7 and run on various Thursdays throughout 2014. From 5:30-8:30 p.m., culinary walking tours through downtown Manitou Springs feature six restaurant destinations, and also include a behind-the-scenes tour of Manitou’s only winery. Tour tickets are $49.
Shhh! Don’t tell in Telluride
The annual KOTO Lip Sync in Telluride is Jan. 24 at the Michael D. Palm Theatre. Combiningg dancing and lip syncing, this event is a local favorite. or 970-728-4334.
