THORNTON, Colo.—Thornton police have taken a 17-year-old youth into custody in connection with the killing of an 18-year-old man during a fight over the weekend.
Police identified the victim Tuesday as 18-year-old Anthony Benavidez of Thornton. The Adams County Coroner’s Office says Benavidez died of a knife wound.
Investigators say the juvenile is facing first-degree murder charges.
