Getting your player ready...
When a normal person, or even a normal athlete, gets a laceration on his stomach, he is likely to bandage it up go see a doctor. But in most cases, he will stop playing.
Hockey players aren’t normal people. Take, for example, Brayden Schenn.
In the second period of the over the New Jersey Devils, Schenn was inadvertently sliced in the torso by the skate of Dainius Zubrus. Schenn came back and scored the game-winning goal. No big deal.
