Health care and tech meshed at the International CES conference last week. Samsung teased services such as in-home doctor visits that use the company’s latest TV sets. UnitedHealthcare announced that to have access to its new online health-care-shopping service, called myEasyBook. Research firm Parks Associates says there’s demand for these types of services. According to its research, more than 50 percent of U.S. broadband households with access to real-time video calls with a doctor, online appointment booking and related services use them. — Andy Vuong, The Denver Post
