• CLARIFICATION: A story on Page 1A Sunday about Dr. Gloria Beim’s appointment as chief medical officer of the U.S. Olympic team at the Sochi games this year said her father had spent four years in Polish labor camps during World War II. The story may have left the impression that the Polish government ran the camps. They were run by Nazi Germany in Poland.
