
Drunk throws object at car. A woman called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies on Jan. 1 after her parents’ car, being driven in the area of South Simms Street and West Cooper Avenue, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), was struck by an object hurled by a pedestrian. The intoxicated and mumbling suspect fled after being confronted. Deputies were unable to locate him.
Woman’s mailbox knocked over. On Jan. 2, deputies went to the 8400 block of South Carr Street,unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), after a woman reported finding her mailbox knocked over. She suspected her former father-in-law to be the perpetrator. Officers were unable to contact the suspect and didn’t have sufficient evidence to pursue the matter.
Grandfather reports runaways. A man called deputies Jan. 3 to report that his granddaughters had run away from home. Deputies reported to the 8700 block of West Brittany Drive, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), but the children had already returned home. The grandfather told officers he suspected the girls were subject to mental abuse from their father. Officers recommended the grandfather call child protective services.
Man banned from Elvis Cinemas. On Jan. 5, employees of Elvis Cinemas, 6014 S. Kipling Parkway, unincorporated Jeffco (Littleton), called deputies to report an intoxicated customer was sitting on their cars in the parking lot. Police contacted the suspect and he was instructed to leave the property with his girlfriend, who was sober, and not return.
