A former fire fighter was sentenced to five years of intensive sex-offender supervised probation for attempting to meet an underage girl for sex.
Ronald Michael Asciutto, 60, was sentenced Tuesday for the incident that happened last June, according to a news release from the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office.
Asciutto was arrested after he arrived at a home to meet what he believed was a female minor who he spoke to online, according to the release.
The child was actually an investigator with the district attorney’s office.
In addition to a sexually graphic conversation with the minor, Ascuitto asked for naked pictures.
Ascuitto pleaded guilty to attempted sexual assault of a child on Nov. 12. He must register as a sex offender.
