BOULDER, Colo.—Boulder County commissioners have rejected a skydiving company’s application to continue using a Gunbarrel-area farm as a landing zone for parachutists.

Thursday’s decision means that the Boulder Municipal Airport-based Independent Skydive Co. will have to stop using the landing zone. Commissioners say the landing zone is not big enough to ensure parachutists will land on the property.
